We are Amanda and Ashley โ co-doulas, partners, and your biggest supporters through every moment of pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.
Ashley is a follower of Christ and wife, with a passion to educate, inform, and offer holistic support for women stepping into motherhood. Before becoming a doula, Ashley was a BMX athlete for 14 years, with 1-year of professional racing. When the Lord graciously saved her through Jesus Christ, a desire grew for supporting women in their God-given role as mothers and caring for the body in holistic ways. This led her down the path of researching, studying, and witnessing the amazing miracle of life being brought into this world and her new goal became to serve & educate women in this stage of life.
With being an athlete for many years and as a Type 1 Diabetic since the age of 3, Ashley is able to bring a deep understanding of the body, realizing that nothing we do to them occurs in isolation. Each process influences a series of other processes. The decisions we make, the support we have, and the things we do to our bodies can impact outcomes- especially during birth. She believes women should have tools, education, and confidence to make decisions that truly align with their values. Ashley also loves teaching women and moms how to nourish their bodies to support pregnancy, aid in labor and birth, and influence postpartum healing.
Outside of birth work, Ashley loves running, riding bikes with her husband, hiking, time spent in nature, and creating home-cooked, nourishing recipes.
Amanda is a follower of Christ, wife, and mother of two with a deep love for all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Before stepping into doula work, she spent 4.5 years in real estate sales before gradually transitioning into full-time motherhood after the births of her daughter and son.
During the postpartum season with her youngest, while home caring for her children, the desire to support other women through birth work began to grow. Through God's grace, Amanda experienced two beautiful and empowering births of her own- her first at a birth center in Statesville and her second at home- which Ashley attended! These experiences deeply shaped her passion for physiological birth and intentional motherhood. As Amanda began sharing her passion for birth and motherhood more openly, she quickly realized how many women around her carried stories of fear, disappointment, trauma, or feeling unsupported during pregnancy and birth. Hearing those stories only deepened her desire to help mothers feel more prepared, educated, confident, and cared for throughout their journey. Her hope is to help mothers walk away from their births feeling empowered, respected, and able to look back on their experience with peace and joy.
Outside of birth work, Amanda loves gardening with her children, cooking & baking, founding a local mom walk group in her community, enjoying the sunshine, and living intentionally and simply with her growing family. She looks forward to homeschooling her children and continuing to build a rich, faith-centered life, rooted in family.
We believe birth is a God-designed process, intentionally created and deeply meaningful. When families are supported, informed, and surrounded by peace, birth can unfold in a way that honors both the body and the spirit. We founded this partnership with a simple, heart-centered mission: to ensure that every woman in our community feels fully educated, deeply supported, and prepared for the miracle of bringing new life into the world.
We lean toward natural and holistic living, while embracing balance and appropriate modern care when it is truly needed. We value clean ingredients, gentle remedies, and simple rhythms โ alongside grace, wisdom, and flexibility โ recognizing that no two families are the same and each family has certain desires for many reasons.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future."
